“SOMETIMES GRACE REMINDS ME…
….THAT I DON’T GET TO BE THE KING…”
I was so convicted this morning… that life is not all about me. isn’t that such a freeing truth?
i realize that i can sing “ALL THIS FOR A KING”.. and live my life for God and for His kingdom…
yet sometimes the tendency is still for me to usurp God’s position..and that is it ME sitting in the throne of my own life.
maybe…sitting on the throne of my life will make me feel happy for a short while, people serving me, and getting everything i think i would want…
but what makes me coming back to realize that I want God to be the only one REIGNING in my life…
is when i realize that HE IS A WAY BETTER KING than I could ever be (figuratively speaking) 
that His way, His truth, His path…is so much better than I could ever plan my own ways.
I am SO THANKFUL that I serve a GOOD GOD who wants WHATS BEST FOR US.
God, You can take your seat again. I live to serve you. My heart beats to praise you. Thank you for patiently and lovingly pursuing after us. We are overwhelmed with your love, goodness, and blessings

i was so encouraged today when i was taking my first final at fuller. my professor, chap clark, before passing out the tests said, “are yall nervous about this test?” “are your hearts pounding with nervousness?” … if so, don’t let your heart pound for anything but Christ…
“you are not in class. you are in worship. in ten years from now ..if you can come to me and say, i forgot everything we learned in class…but i love Jesus more than i did 10 years ago…. then that will be all that matters.. let the only thing this test do…let you show God how much you’ve taken him seriously this quarter…”

how often do we get caught up in things? forgetting the grander purpose of our life here on earth. it’s not about grades, tests, paychecks, … but … KNOWING who God is… being LOVED by Him and letting that love spur us to love Him and others… TRUSTING him and FOLLOWING him by…
ALIGNING our heart…and our desires…. to HIS.

hi friends just wanted to give yall a little update on my life …
DIANA AT FULLER:
- school is going really well! I am not used to the fast-pace of a quarter system school, as we are approaching finals and papers, but I turned in my FIRST RESEARCH PAPER today!! with footnotes and everytime…guestimating it took me 20-30 hours to do!!! Anyone wanna read it? LOL.
- I register for Winter Quarter classes tomorrow morning and I think I am going to take the second quarter of Greek, Adult Formation Discipleship, and the Life of Jesus i am learning so much!!
DIANA AT WORK:
- so I officially have two part-time jobs (can you believe it? Full Time Student + 2 Part Time Jobs!) the Lord is definitely teaching me good time management and balance I will start my tutoring job at the start of the new year in January so I can finish out this quarter… I will be tutoring him on writing, grammar, vocabulary, etc. etc (prepping him for SAT – VERBAL in the future!)
DIANA WITH GOD:
- God has been teaching me and reminding me of so many things. I would say the thing I feel like drawn to the most is being more and more evangelical…. always looking for opportunities to BE ALL ABOUT God’s kingdom, drawing people in, unifying them, showing them truth, and living out LOUD. God has been really speaking to me through praise song lyrics in my time with him…
DIANA WITH CALI FRIENDS:
- Aww, God is blessing me so much in this arena. I feel like I have gotten close to so many people in my 6 months here in California..some people who have REALLY gotten to know me and some I’m still in the process of getting to know. It’s really neat because I actually have a lot of friends OUTSIDE of Fuller, but am still looking forward to building community at school. Tomorrow I’m having meeting with 2 girls at Fuller Hannah and Ashley!
DIANA WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS BACK HOME:
- I am so so so excited in just a month I will be coming home to visit family and friends. Dec 17th to Jan 1st. I have been proud of myself at how well I have kept in touch with my family and friends back home. I can’t wait to see you all counting down the days!!!!
DIANA WITH HER BABY (my doggie):
- I will be uploading some pics of Lee Lee soon. I have been taking sooo soo many! I can’t get over how every day she just gets cuter and cuter and cuter to me. I think I love her more and more the older she gets because our time is so precious together. She’s still soooo healthy even though she’s having little random spasms now, but she’s definitely pooping up a storm! Today she went TWO times that nutro max dog food must be really good. hehe. her coat is so great… she’s sleeping peacefully now can’t wait to show yall pics~!
RANDOM DIANA THOUGHTS:
- I think something’s wrong with me…. it seems like I have SO much crazy hyper energy even though I’m exhausted everyday. I get sooooo excited sooo easily! people made fun of me in class today because i always give people these random compliments–hey, i like telling people things i notice. is there every a point of being TOO joyful?
- GUITAR PRAISE is here!!!! A guitar hero version of Christian songs! I TOTALLY WANT ONE!!!!!!!!
- the LA Auto Show is here this week… I am so excited to go Do any of my other girl friends like cars?
- I love Pandora!!!!

I sang this song “Hosanna in the Highest” yesterday when I visited Francis Chan’s church in Simi Valley. and God really knows that I can be so captivated when I hear a message COMBINED with a worship song that speaks to me…

i have such a desire to have a heart like Christ. I want to feel what he feels, love what he loves, go where he goes. and while i think of having the heart of Jesus.. I see how important it is to have a kingdom mindset in all we do..
yesterday we prayed for a small tribe in Tibet where there has never been a viable christian witness. they are 100% Buddhist and 0% Christian. There are still people who have not heard the wonderful gospel of Christ, and still so many who have heard the Gospel…who don’t realize WHY they need a savior..
God wants us to be loved and molded by him, so that we can be HIM to people that need to realize the HOPE and REDEMPTION they have. May we all be a constant witness…throwing ourselves off our own kingdom throne…and asking God,
HOW CAN I FURTHER YOUR KINGDOM?!
May we plant SEEDS for HIS kingdom…. that His Spirit may GROW in us all…
