spring quarter is here!  i start classes today and I will be taking

1. my last quarter of greek! (then i’ll be done!)

2.  early church history

3.  mentoring

everyday that i am at fuller, i am more and more excited about learning and making the most of every opportunity i have here to invest in others, and be open to what God is teaching me here through classes, professors, and peers.

……………………

something i wanted to encourage you all is with a message I heard on Sunday at Epicentre.

Pastor Lo has been taking us through a study of the life of David, and to learn how to live a life of worship to God.

That it’s all about our response to God.

how open are we to His leadings, His tests, His way?

he talked about the importance of spiritual nourishment. how so many people walk around spiritually starving, only going to be fed once a week at church.  how can we possibly endure God’s tests and follow His ways if we are not nourishing ourselves?

we must nourish ourselves not just daily but d e e p l y.

whatever you have planned today, make sure that you do it out of a deep time spent with the Lord first. you are never TOO busy.  God should not be “fit into our schedule, we must allow everything we do today, to be out of a deep abiding in Christ!

do not settle for anything less than depth in Christ !

praying for you all.

Galatians 6

Doing Good to All

1Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently.

But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.

2Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

3If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

4Each one should test his own actions.

Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else,

5for each one should carry his own load.

6Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor.

7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked.

A man reaps what he sows.

8The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature[a]will reap destruction;

the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,

especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord

whose CONFIDENCE is in Him

he will be like a TREE, planted by the stream

sending its roots out to the Water

when HEAT comes, its leaves are ALWAYS GREEN

in a year of drought,

IT WILL NEVER CEASE TO BEAR FRUIT.
