do not give up.   when God is calling you to live for Him, to abide by the Spirit daily.  do not give up!

we REAP what we SOW.  If we want LIFE, then we must continue living in God’s SPIRIT, in our thoughts, in our words, in our actions.  constantly surrendering our lives, for the life to the full that God has for us.

you have a choice.  CHOOSE LIFE.

“do not be deceived.  God cannot be mocked.  People reap what they sow”

those who sow from the sinful nature will reap destruction,

those who sow from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest,

the truth shall set you free May 12, 2009

as you are reading this blog, do you realize the power of your thoughts?  80% of life is lived in our mind… our thoughts dictate the words we say, the way that we feel, and the decisions we make! so what do you spend your time thinking about?

The Bible says we are in a real war.  but the war we are in isn’t with other people…but with a real enemy who is the father of lies!  his plan is to make us believe in lies that make us usually feel worthless, defeated, bitter, angry, unappreciated..depressed.

God comes to give us LIFE!  Knowing HIS truth and thinking on it is the ONLY way for us to experience FREEDOM from the lies that the enemy feeds us with daily!  We must take each thought we are thinking about, and make sure it aligns accordingly to God’s truth!

When we let the enemy lie to us over and over again, we begin to have strongholds in our lives (a negative thought pattern that begins to shape our lives..for the worse!)

God’s Word says that the only way to break down strongholds in our lives is to KNOW God’s word and truth, and take each thought we have and make sure that it is centered on truth, not lie!! Begin to live in the freedom and life that Christ died for you to have!  Recognize that the battle is in your mind and that you have the power to control your thoughts!!!

“the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” ~2 Cor 10:4-5
